1 – 6 – The Spring – like pleasant weather (before mention’d) continues and Spring comes on. Year beyond expectation: by the 10th just and snow is well nigh gone, and the mudd something abated. Joseph has gone to Boston.

Begins with increasing cold after a spell of Springlike weather & even seemingly Spring begun.

4 Lundy – A grievous cold storm of snow begins – Elisha Alexander of northfield perished with the cold in this storm.
