9 Samedy [1751] – The above storm continued severe 2 days, after which 2 days sledding and it seemed like December or Janvier (January) & a cold North Eastern storm of rain ends this week.

10 Mardy [1752] – Annual Lawn Meeting – very snowy in the afternoon and evening –but what is more oppressing to me is that I am sworn to the office of Constable – this I fear will be the undoing of my temporal interest.

11 Diamanche [1751] – The rain continues to come good & plenty – Spring tides follow, i.e., freshets, frogs peep.
